March for Babies

This year we are going to do the March of Dimes - March For Babies. I participated in the past (I got to ride in my stroller so I wasn't really walking). This year they changed the route from around Pleasanton to Bishop Ranch in San Ramon. I'm too big for my stroller but probably still not big enough to walk 3 miles, so I'm going to ride my trike. Here we are going for a test run in our neighborhood. Inu always tries to walk ahead of me for some reason but I think we're ready for the walk. This morning for pretend time, Inu and I went on a train ride. I was the conductor and Inu rode in the caboose. I don't think she enjoyed it as much as I did. Next time I'll ask her what she wants to pretend.

Happy Easter! Today we went to the mall for Madi's first birthday party. But my parents didn't know the mall was closed for easter so we were too early and I didn't get to shop at the toy store.

California Great America

Daddy's Uncle Kin works at Lockheed Martin and they have an employee day at Great America each year. He invited us there this year for my first time there. I had a lot of fun riding the rides and I even got to see Dora and Diego! They took a picture with me. I was really tired afterwards but I can't wait until I get to go again.

Kite Flying

After school today, my Mommy and Daddy took me to the park to try and fly a kite. After my Daddy got the kite in the air he let me hold the string. I had fun and laid on the grass to watch the kite move back and forth in the air. Next time Daddy is going to bring another kite so we can fly together.

Discovery Museum

Today, Mommy and Daddy took me, gung-gung, and poh-poh to the Discovery Museum in San Jose. It was only my second time there. I tried to play with every display so we were there for a while, I'm not sure if gung-gung fell asleep or not. Here I am getting a 360 degree map of my head. It wasn't that cool, after this i went to play in the waterworks which is my favorite part. Daddy put a video of Mommy and me playing with the geyser there.

Super Gung Gung

Remember back when I thought Gung Gung was like Superman? Today, I think I figured out what one of his superpowers is. He came to my school holiday party with Mommy and Poh Poh and he fell asleep in my classroom! I think he has the ability to fall asleep and snore anywhere and anytime. I'll keep you up to date on any other superpowers I discover.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I am at Lake Tahoe for Thanksgiving this year. We tried to make a snowman at Heavenly but there wasn't any real snow, just the snow that Heavenly was making so the snowman was really hard to make.

We just got back from Maui with the Dublin Crew. I had a lot of fun playing in the pool and at the beach. It was the first trip that Baby Madi, Baby Sofia, Ryan and I went on together. You should have seen all the luggage at the airport for us, we didn't even fit in one car.

My ba-ba got me my own camera so I could document my trips and post pictures here. I asked him to help me setup this slideshow so everyone can see highlights from our trip from my 3 year old perspective. (of course the pictures I'm in, I didn't take). I'm very tired from travelling so I should go to sleep now...

Over the weekend we visited "nai-nai" at her house. After dinner, i was playing in the family room and noticed a set of mics. My "ba-ba" helped me set it up and I sang Old Macdonald for everyone. I did a couple more songs but then it was time to go home. The movie is posted in the video section of my website.

This year, I chose my own costume, Elephant! I've been going to Halloween events all week at school and at clubsports. Tonight I'm going to the mall with Ryan and we're going to trick or treat. This is my 3rd time and Ryan's first so I'm going to show him the ropes.

Update: I forgot to tell you about my dog, Inu. She dressed up as an angel this year so we didn't really match like last year. This year we didn't have time to take her to trick or treat so she just stayed at home to scare people who came to our door.

PS, i also updated the first picture to include Ryan at the mall. He dressed up as Tigger.

Growing

Here's a picture of my lego Thomas set now. My Daddy helped me set it up so the trains can go around and back under the bridge now. It's a lot of fun. You can click and go back to my old pictures and see how the set has grown since I got my first one. Back then it was only one train and it just went in a circle.

I'm growing too, I can reach the light switches at home without a stepstool now and Mommy noticed that some of my pants are too short now. Pretty soon, I'll be able to do alot more by myself.

Day on the Glen 2007

Today I went to Emerald Glen park again for the second day of the annual Day on the Glen. This year was really fun because now that I'm over 36 inches tall, I can ride the rides by myself if i want to. So today I rode the same rides I rode yesterday, the bouncing buggies, airplanes, spinning cups and train. Yesterday Daddy forgot to bring his camera but today he took a few pictures of me riding the rides. I brought home a lot of free stuff but Mommy said I didn't need alot of it.

Valet Parking

Last Christmas, my "nai-nai" bought me this pedal car Mercedes. Back then I wasn't really tall enough or strong enough to pedal it so I drove it Flinstone style or just pushed it around. But last weekend we went to their house and now I can pedal all over the place. I valet parked all my cars on the driveway next to Mommy's car. Daddy was helping my grandparents program their garage remotes at the time, so I made sure he included my car.

It's the Labor Day holiday and Mommy and Daddy and I have been busy! Today, we drove all over the Bay Area. Everyone except Inu got new shoes so I put Daddy's shoes on her. Mommy and Daddy want to buy a new sofa for our family room so we stopped by a bunch of warehouse stores to look. I had fun because I get to sit on a lot of different sofas and try them out. Mommy and Daddy didn't see anything they liked but I saw some things I liked. They didn't buy the chairs I like but I think I'm supposed to start sleeping in a big boy bed soon.

Today I'm officially three years old. Thanks to everyone who came out to my birthday party yesterday, I hope everyone had as much fun as I did riding the train. I had a really long nap when I got home from the park from all the running around at the park. I'm going to dinner with Grandma and some other relatives tonight at my favorite restaurant but I can't wait until I get home to play with my new toys.

August is really busy for me and my family. Every year it starts off with Mommy's birthday. This year we are going to see the SF Giants because they are giving away a really cool Snoopy bobblehead. After that I'm going camping with Mommy and Daddy. The next thing you know it will be my birthday. I guess I can rest in September after my birthday.

Today is 7/7/07. I am going to be the ring bearer at a wedding today so Mommy got me a new haircut and a tuxedo to wear. Here's a picture of me with the flower girl at the wedding. I stayed up really late and danced and played. But afterwards I was really really tired.

Potty Time

Last month, Mommy and Daddy bought me some big boy underpants and I stopped wearing my diapers. At first it was hard to remember to stop playing and go use the bathroom. But Mommy and Daddy created a system where I get a sticker everytime I remembered and after enough stickers, I get a reward! Here's a picture of my collection of Cars cars. I've been really good with my potty training (only a few accidents) as you can see by my collection. Daddy said there are still some more cars I don't have yet but I guess they are really hard to find. Mommy and Daddy said they don't mind looking for the cars for me since they are so proud I've been doing so well with my potty training.
